  • Increased anger or irritability
  • Makes statements about suicide or an “empty life”
  • Sleeping too much or too little

Santé’s therapy and treatment services and programs are free to homebound seniors, 60 years of age and older, who reside in Montgomery County, Maryland. All therapy and treatment are offered in-home and provided in English, Spanish, and/or other languages through interpretation.

Senior Outreach Program

Our therapists first conduct an assessment to understand the unique struggles of each homebound senior. We then develop a therapy plan and work closely with each individual to develop skills and mindsets necessary to cope with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment to medical and other life transitions.

Spanish Speaking Outreach Program

Like the Senior Outreach Program above, our culturally sensitive, bilingual therapist takes a personalized approach to every senior, first conducting an assessment to establish a solid understanding of each senior’s needs. Then, we work closely with the individual to develop the skills necessary to cope with behavioral or mental health issues.

Psychiatric Services

‘The Santé Way’, grounded in the belief that recovery is always possible and hope is always present, is our guiding principle for each service and program. Every psychiatric assessment and follow-up care plan or treatment is personalized to focus on the individual, not the difficulty itself. Led by a psychiatric Licensed Nurse Practitioner, we ensure every individual receives the care they need.

Mental Health Support For Caretakers

Adopting the role of full-time caregiver for a senior or your parent/loved one is a significant responsibility. We understand how exhausting it can be to give so much of yourself day after day. Our short-term therapy is offered to full-time caregivers of seniors in our community to ensure they have the support they need to maintain their own mental health.

*Our short-term therapy is offered in English and Spanish to any full-time caregiver, regardless of age, caring for a senior residing in Montgomery County.
